TÜBA Young Academy at the 80th Anniversary Events of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The 8th General Assembly of the Union of National Academies of Sciences of the Turkic World (UNASTW) was held in Baku under the chairmanship of TÜBA President Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker. The General Assembly was held concurrently with the celebration program organized within the scope of the 80th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (AMEA).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mürsel Doğrul participated in the events on behalf of TÜBA Young Academy. The program created an important platform for science academies in the Turkic world to come together and strengthen their common scientific vision.

As part of the celebrations, AMEA officially announced the establishment of the Azerbaijan Young Academy in honor of its 80th anniversary. This step, which aims to enable young scientists to play a more active role in academic life, was considered the beginning of a new era in regional scientific cooperation.

During the ceremony, AMEA President Prof. Dr. Isa Habibbeyli presented Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mürsel Doğrul, representative of the TÜBA Young Academy, with a commemorative medal in honor of the Academy's 80th anniversary. Prof. Habibbeyli expressed his satisfaction with the contribution of the TÜBA Young Academy to scientific research and emphasized that cooperation between the academies of the two countries would be further strengthened through young researchers.

The TÜBA Young Academy remains committed to increasing the international visibility of young scientists and contributing to the development of scientific relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
